250,000 salons in the country.
Salon City and Beauty Entertainment publishers rate its HOT 100 salon
choices by their media artistry, popularity with their clients,
involvement in the community, peer respect, and industry branding. "Not
everyone we like makes our HOT 100 list, but these did. They are talked
about and they know what it takes." Casciola stated. "The HOT 100 are
really excellent role models. They represent so many other fine salons
and they are the most popular and positively committed beautymakers in
America.

Oops, We Did It Again in 2009!
The USLBA., Best of Local Business Award. The USLBA "Best of Local
Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses
throughout the country. Each year, the USLBA identifies companies that
they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local
community and business category. These are local companies that enhance
the positive image of small business through service to their customers
and community.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2008 USLBA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USLBA and data provided by third parties.
We are an approved vendor as recommended by Well Wed and Vermont Vows Magazines and have 3 fabulous editorial features in both appearing in 2007 -2009 issues
MMF Gives Back
MMF charitable contributions honor the values of founding makeup artist, Nancy Closson, who lost her long battle with cancer in 2006 and Alayne's wishes to help women, children and those affected by cancer.

In 2008
- Alayne and Angela donate time to The American Cancer Society's, Look Better, Feel Better. Alayne tackles the new program for teens and kids with cancer.
- Suzan speaks to adolescents and teens in Saratoga County's Foster Care Program about personal hygiene and cleansing routines.
- Suzan's love for dogs and loss of her white boxer Rocky, brings her to donate time to Animal Shelters in Saratoga County.
- Girls Scout Troop #2643 Alayne as Cookie Mom to raise money for camping in the Adirondacks for the troop and charitable activities for the girls.
- Discounted fees to provide Makeup Services for the Colondar Charitable Calender which provides money to research colon cancer and aid its victims.
- Donations made to BACC to help raise funds to provide low cost childcare for the Town of Ballston Spa Residents.
In 2006 and 2007
- Alayne donated her services to The Brookside Museum Video Project.
- We sponsored Bellevue's Breast Cancer Mobile Mammography Van
- Both Alayne and Angela signed on to do the Look Better/ Feel Better Seminar once every other month at Saratoga Hospital for women battling cancer.
In addition, we donated money and/or services to the following charities:
- Friends of Kelly Park to build a new playground facility for children.
- American Women in Radio and Television.
- Wood Road PTA to sponsor events in the Arts for Children.
- Girl Scout Troop #2643 - who sponsored a family at Christmas and made gifts and sang to elderly residents of Maplewood Manor.
- Research to mothers of stillborn children
- Ballston Spa and Malta Soccer Clubs
- Free makeup to the Theatre Troop at Ballston Spa High School
- Free makeovers to Teachers of Milton Terrace Primary School on Teacher Appreciation Week.
- Kelley's Cause, to Help Kelley Mullholland in her battle against cancer.
- Discounted fees for a video project to aid awareness of ovarian cancer.
- Ballston Area Community Center to help provide low cost childcare and innovative programs to children in our community.
- Spa Christian School
- Hall of Springs Fashion Show to benefit Wiawaka Women's Retreat in Lake George, NY (One of Nancy's and her sister Vicky's favorite places.)

Hello Make Me Fabulous! I just wanted to send a quick note of thanks to let you know how much I LOVED my look on my wedding day back in September. We just got our professional photos back, and they made me realize how happy I was to have Anne and Nicole making me feel my best that day. Everyone in my wedding party who used them said how talented they both were. My mom looked stunning, my sister was so elegant, and my Aunt was just radiant.
